please tell me why this gets rewarded and did i play hand right or wrong

im cruising in the 1500 guaranteed at cake poker
5/27 top 30 paid
have 27k and dealt AA on big blind
4/27 is on my left and she has JJ utg she makes it 1500
short stack behind her shoves 2500 with kt
i raise i bet the pot 8k or so
utg shoves her jj just has me covered
i obviously call

flop KQJ no help for me on turn or river

wtf out in 27th when would of had chip lead if holds

Hi Kelvin its so easy to give advice after a hand has been played but I dont think the question should be did you play the hand right but rather was there anyway you could have avoided going out the tourny. First of all forget about what your holding and put yourself in there shoes. She raised utg 1500 so she obviously has a strong hand. Now add the flop to the equasion and AA doesnt seem such a good hand, ok you have a straight draw but if you wanted to get as far in this tourny as possible then after that flop and with there call after the flop (probably all in) it would have been an easy fold. Like i say easy to say after a hand has been played and I myself only folded AA for the first time very recently. I would just take this as a bad beat and learn from it but next time you get AA at such an important time in the game maybe think about what they are holding and if you are not confident about your hand then fold, forget about them and move on to the next hand, at least your still in the tourny :)
